Overview
This 12-day safari allows you to experience both the bushveld and the beach. You will see the Big Five as well as other exciting animals. All this with the assistance of a tour operator based in Arusha. This tour provides full board while on safari, a personal English-speaking guide, and private use of a 4x4 Jeep (with mineral water, snacks, power sockets, and binoculars supplied) while staying at hand-picked accommodation. After the bush safari, you fly to Zanzibar to relax and enjoy the beach.

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
The safari guide from our office in Arusha will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. You are transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you relax for the rest of the afternoon, enjoy your overnight stay and prepare for the next day's adventure. You can explore the city with our guide at no additional fee.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You are picked up from your lodge early in the morning to start the beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes.
Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. All these while the Tarangire River winds its way through the parklands. You may see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you depart for Lake Manyara National Park. The journey includes a game drive and carried lunch boxes. Once the game drive is complete, we will drive you back to the lodge to relax and stay overnight.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its arboreal lions, which hide among tree branches. You will also see numerous troops of baboons living in the forest, accompanying you along the road from the moment you enter the park.

Day 4-5: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a game drive and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the lodge. You spend the following day inside the park on game drives.
Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Day 6: Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drive is complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area that constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. About 30 000 large mammals are resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos), and a wide variety of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). So be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

Day 7: Transfer to Arusha Airport and Flight to Zanzibar's Beaches
After breakfast, you can relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping before transferring to Arusha Airport. Your flight to Zanzibar will depart from Arusha Airport. Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Zanzibar International Airport for your private transfer to your hotel in Stone town.

Day 8: Stone Town Tour and Transfer to Your Beach Hotel
After breakfast, we take a full-day Stone town tour with our local guide. Once we have completed the day's activities, we will transfer you to your beach hotel.
Admire the narrow streets lined with residential houses that preserve their original Swahili-Omani themes. Exquisitely carved doorways identify the themes with metal studs, overhanging balconies, and latticed windows. Side by side, you will see churches and mosques. The churches were built because of the colonial presence in the country, and the mosques were commissioned by the sultans of Zanzibar. You will also visit other interesting destinations in the town.

Day 9-11: Relaxing on Zanzibar's Beaches
These two days are spent in Zanzibar at your leisure. Use your time to relax on the beach and at the resort. Discover Zanzibar's best beaches, each offering spectacular sunsets, palm-fringed beaches, turquoise waters, white sand, and colorful coral reefs.

Day 12: Transfer to Zanzibar International Airport
Enjoy the last few hours before you depart from the resort. We will pick you up at the resort and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport, where our service ends.
On the way back to Zanzibar International Airport, you can stop at Stone town to buy souvenirs.
