Tanzania's national parks and Zanzibar welcome visitors from all over the world every year. On safari you travel with a professional driver-guide who knows the parks and their rules. Late June to October is the classic dry season; January to March is calving season in the southern Serengeti; April and May are the long rains. See the best time to visit Tanzania, or tell us your dates and we will plan around them.
A private safari gives you your own vehicle and guide, so you set the pace. A shared safari lowers the cost. Tell us your preference and we will quote it.

Three or four days covers Tarangire and Ngorongoro; six to eight days lets you include the Serengeti without rushing. Add three to five nights if you want Zanzibar.

For northern Tanzania safaris, fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Zanzibar (ZNZ) and Dar es Salaam (DAR) are the other international gateways. Many travelers arrive at JRO and fly home from Zanzibar.
